SurahAl Fath terdiri dari 29 ayat dan termasuk juz ke 26 serta tergolong dalam surah Madaniyah karena surah ini diturunkan di kota Madinah. Surah Al Fath artinya "Kemenangan" yaitu diambil dari kata Fathan yang terletak pada awal ayat surah ini. Pada surah ini memiliki makna tentang kemenangan Rasulullah dalam peperangannya.
